Carl Charest started his career at Showbizz.net where, beyond learning to be an integrator, he perfected his skills as a journalist. He then left Quebec city for Montreal where he became an editor at Showbizz.net and webmaster at Astral Media.

After his tenure at Astral, he held the poisitions of ad coordinator and then editor for the techno section of Canoe. This experience allowed him to jump head-first into content production and publishing while using his ad coordinator experience to influence both the content and the layout.

Since June 2007, he's holding the position of Chief Editor at BV! Media's content division, BRANCHEZ-VOUS!.
